How many dehydrated pineapples are inside the pack?
We dehydrate pineapples of all sizes. We try to sell by weight, but the number of slices will vary because of the many shapes and sizes of our supplier's produce. Dehydrated pineapples are not flat and do not stack neatly. We will fill the jar with as many slices as physically possible.
As a very general guide:
Small pouch - 8 Slices
Large pouch - 21 Slices
Med jar - 13 Slices
Large jar - 21 Slices
What size are pineapples when they are dehydrated?
Pineapples shrink quite a lot when you dehydrate them. So the size varies depending on the ripeness and the type of fruit of the season. Dried pineapple vary in size from 30mm to 70mm in diameter.
