IMMUDEFEN Cold & Flu Medicine 200mL

An East-West formula of Echinacea and Chinese herbs. In traditional Western herbal medicine, Echinacea supports the body's immune system to fight illness to:

• Relieve symptoms of common cold and flu
• Reduce the severity of symptoms of mild upper respiratory tract infections
• Relieve symptoms of mild tonsillitis

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM):

• Honeysuckle and Japanese Catnip relieve symptoms of common cold and flu (described in TCM as externally contracted wind-heat patterns)
• Forsythia also relieves symptoms of common cold (in an externally contracted wind-heat pattern)
• Balloon Flower relieves symptoms of pharyngitis (sore throat), resolves phlegm and clears respiratory tract mucous
• Lily Magnolia relieves nasal congestion
• Isatis relieves symptoms of mild tonsillitis
• Platycodon grandiflorum and/or Glycyrrhiza uralensis is traditionally used in Chinese Medicine to decrease/reduce/relieve mild bronchial cough.

Each 6mL contains concentrated liquid herbal extracts, equiv. to 9g of herbs as follows:

• Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) flower bud 900 microlitre, dry equiv. 1.8g
• Isatis (Isatis tinctoria) root 900 microlitre, dry equiv. 1.8g
• Forsythia (Forsythia suspensa) fruit 600 microlitre, dry equiv. 1.2g
• Japanese Catnip (Schizonepeta tenuifolia) herb 600 microlitre, dry equiv. 1.2g
• Balloon Flower (Platycodon grandiflorus) root 450 microlitre, dry equiv. 900mg
• Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) root 450 microlitre, dry equiv. 900mg
• Lily Magnolia (Magnolia liliflora) flower bud 450 microlitre, dry equiv. 900mg
• Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis) root & rhizome 150 microlitre, dry equiv. 300mg

Contains ethanol 22.5%, spearmint oil, vegetable glycerin.

Recommended Dosage:
Adult (14+ years): 12mL three times daily
Child (6-14 years): 6-9mL three times daily
Child (2-6 years): 3-6mL three times daily
Dilute each dose in 10-30mL of water, juice or milk and consume immediately.
