Montreal steak spice has its roots in the city's famous smoked meat tradition.

The Jewish delis of Montreal became renowned for heavily seasoned smoked meat, traditionally made from beef brisket. The distinctive combination of coarse pepper, garlic and spices eventually became a seasoning style in its own right.

Our Montreal Steak Spice takes inspiration from that tradition, delivering the bold seasoning and coarse texture that makes this style of spice so distinctive.
