FAQs
What's the difference between the clear and tinted?
They both use the same zinc oxide formula. The clear one blends in and disappears. The tinted one leaves a natural skin tone, which some people prefer if they want a bit of coverage as well.
Do I rub it in or leave it on top?
With the clear stick, swipe it on and blend with your fingertips so it sits evenly. The tinted one you can either blend in or leave a visible layer. It's protecting either way.
Can I use this as my only sunscreen?
You could for your face, but it's really designed for the spots that cop the most sun. If you need full body coverage, a lotion is easier for the first application and the stick is great for top-ups.
Is it water resistant?
Yes, up to 4 hours. You'll still want to reapply after swimming, sweating, or towelling off.
Will the zinc stick melt in my bag?
It's a solid wax-based stick, so it handles heat much better than a tube of cream would.
Can I apply this over makeup?
Yes. Swipe it on gently over your makeup and then pat it in with your fingertips to even it out.
